Hello;
Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!
Laptops don't have video cards; instead, they have video chips -- and if there is no display at all on your laptop screen, that means either the screen has died or the video chipset has died.
To check if the video chipset still works, you would need to connect an external monitor to a video port on the laptop.
If that monitor then eventually displays something, your video chipset has died.
This is NOT something you can fix, as it is soldered directly to the motherboard of the laptop.
