I see from the post that you are having some issues on your HP Envy 15 notebook. I'll try my best to help you with this,

 

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

 

Are you indicating that you are no longer able to shut down the PC?

Is it regarding your Wireless connection?

When was the last time it worked (date)?

Could you please elaborate more on the issue as this will help me in further assisting you?

 

In the meantime, you could try to perform a Hard reset on the notebook.

I can safely turn off my computer. My only problem  is that my computer will not automatically go to sleep under any conditions. This only happens a few days. Thanks for your help.

I appreciate your time and efforts,

 

As I understand the PC doesn't go into sleep mode anymore,
