Hi mohsin,

Try reinstalling the drivers for the touchpad from HP site (put model number and go to drivers):

http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

or by right-clicking on the device in device manager and updating drivers

I f still giving problems try uninstalling the drivers from device manager (right-click on start and click on device manager). Right-click on the device and on uninstall (should be synaptics under heading mice and pointing devices). At reboot windows will automatically reinstall the drivers.

Hope it helps,

David
