Hi,
I've got HP Pavilion dv7-6b75eo laptop and have recently updated to windows 8.1 x64. Obviously with the OS update the old graphic drivers no longer work. Any ideas how to resolve the issue or at least when HP will release new drivers (if it ever will)?
Thanks.

Hi,
As per the link, your unit is still not tested with Windows 8.1 by HP.
http://www8.hp.com/us/en/ad/windows-8/upgrade.html
In the mean time you can try to install the drivers of Windows 8 and see if that works. Else you will have to wait till HP tests and releases the drivers.

Thanks for a reply. I went through a bunch of solutions discussed on this forum, but unfortunately none of them worked. Which means, I will have to wait for an official driver update from HP.
What really boggles my mind though is the service quality. The GPU is one of the most expensive parts of entertainment/gaming laptops and supporting it makes good business sense. On top of that, it's not like Microsoft have released the 8.1 update unexpectedly, there was plenty of time to go through and prepare a driver update. But what really astounded me, is when I called HP support to figure out if they even considering a release of a new driver software, instead of solving the problem they were trying to sell me $99 plan, which was supposed to take care of the issue. This is ridiculous. The funny thing is that my laptop edges the end of its useful life. Would I consider HP in the future? Probably no.

I have a HP Pavilion dv7t-6c00
We are in Dec/2016 and I believe this is still an issue, I have Windows 8.1 installed and I am not able to see my Radeon graphics options or even play a better game
Is anyone using Windows 7 and is able to post which video driver version is currently using? I'm thinking in rollback to Win7
I'm very disappointed with HP about this kind of problem, and I don't intend to buy a new notebook of this brand EVER.
Best Regards!
