HP 311 Mini 1037 NR
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I upgraded this little netbook to WIN 10 and it ran really poorly.  Finally gave up and went back to WIN 7. Apparently I need to update the drivers to get my wireless connection to be seen.  HP site only said No drivers available for this PC. HELP!! I don't know what to do or how to get my machine to work the way it used to!

Hi:

You need this wireless card driver...

This package contains the Broadcom Wireless LAN Drivers that are required to enable the integrated Broadcom Wireless LAN Adapter in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

Hi:

I think you should be able to use the W7 drivers and software from the 311-1100 series notebooks on yours.

Looks like the 1100's have the same hardware as the 1000's.

Do not use any of the BIOS or firmware files though.

Thanks so much Paul!  How can I tell which  Wirelss device I have on the computer so I select the correct driver?

You're very welcome.

Please post the hardware ID for the device you see listed as a network controller and then I will post the link to the driver you need.

To find the hardware ID, click on the network controller device in the device manager.

Then click on the Details tab at the top of the network controller window.

Now you will see a Property drop down list and it will be set to Device Description.

Drop down on that list and select the 2nd item (Hardware ID's).

Post the top string of characters that you see in the window.

The first one listed is : PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4353&SUBSYS_1509103C&REV_01
