Few days ago my system made some automatic updates after i shut down my computer. When I restarted it, my computer couldn't find any wireless connection (although my phone or my friend's laptop could). I went to the Device Manager, to the Control Panel and to Internet and Network center, thinking maybe my Wi-Fi adapter was turned off somehow so i will enable it again, or maybe it wasnt activated in the settings, but there wasn't even a sign for any of it. Even when i'm searching the word Wi-Fi in the Start menu my system can't find anything.
Just to mention I don't have an Internet cable cause the only internet connection I have is the wirless modem in my apartment (this message is written from my work).
Is there an option maybe, that you will send me link to download a file or something that would give me the optioon to install a new adapter or something? the only option i can think of is to download something like that to my friend's laptop and than to transfer it to my computer with a cable or a usb stick (don't have this stuff but guess i will have to but it thanks to HP great updates and the great pavillion 15!!)
plz help me, im abroad and i really need conenction to internet, and this computer is geeting on my nerves.
sorry for my bad english.
thank you.

Hello;
Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!
Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
http://hp.dezide.com/ts/start.jsp?guide=wirelessconnection.net§ion=social
Hopefully, one of those will work ...
If it does, then seriously consider disabling Win10 driver updates -- as those cause no end of problems. I have driver updates disabled on ALL my Win10 PCs. Here are the instructions: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/48277-driver-updates-windows-update-enable-disable-windows-10-a.h...

well my friend. thank you so much. The second link you attached helped me a lot.
The solution was to enter the HP Recovery Manager. Than I had the option to re-install the WI FI adapter (although I couldn't find any sign to it in the Device Manger). Did it, it took 2 minutes, than restarted the computer and problem solved.
Thanks alot!
