Hello, lately i have been getting a problem with my bluetooth mouse. Its hasnt been a big problem since i got the new Windows creators update. The problem is when i try to connect to my mouse it will sometimes say connection falied or give me a password i have to put in. Before the creators update it would just ask me for a password and i could just type nothing in and press connect and it would connect to my mouse. now i have to type something in even though there is no password on my mouse.

Hello, @DragonLikeWolf – Hope you are well 🙂
Thanks for your continued participation on the HP Forums! I came across your post about the Bluetooth issue and wanted to share my suggestions with you!
First off, try pairing the Bluetooth device using the “0000” or “1234” password and see if that fixes the issue.
If the issue persists, it could because the Bluetooth drivers are not updated on your PC after the Win 10 update. Try the steps listed below and check:
- In the search box on the taskbar, type Device Manager, select it from the list of results, and then expand Bluetooth in Device Manager.
- Press and hold (or right-click) the Bluetooth radio, then select Update Driver Software > Search automatically for updated driver software.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to update the drivers.
- If no updates are available, simply uninstall the Bluetooth drivers from the device manager.
- Restart the PC once done and see if that fixes the issue.
Also, check Fix Bluetooth problems in Windows - Microsoft Support for additional steps to try and fix the issue.
Those steps should do the trick, let me know the outcome!
Good luck 🙂
