Hi, Michaël:
Yes, that is a wireless card with bluetooth.
You need this W8 bluetooth driver for the wlan card.
This package contains the Broadcom Bluetooth driver for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. Broadcom Bluetooth Driver is required to enable Broadcom Bluetooth devices.
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp69001-69500/sp69489.exe
For the other issue, I would suggest you go back to your IT guy and see what he can do.
It sounds to me like he put in a drive from another notebook that already had the operating system on it, and it may have had a different hardware configuration.
