Hi
My wifi doesnt work. The wifi button is orange and if I push it, it says its off or either disabled. The HP Connection Center just says, that its disabled by wireless button. And troubleshoot says, that the wireless capability is off. I also tried to enable it on thetwork and sharing center, wich is possible, but doesnt help.
The laptop has Windows 7 on it and the wireless disabled, shortly after I downloaded Office 365.
Can s.o. help me pls??
I think, I have to press a combination of buttons, cause it saying its disabled by the wirelss button. But I only have one, and it wont help.

Try to go to the Windows Mobility Center and turn on the WIFI.
Check in Device manager that you have wireless adapter under network adapters.
Try to download and install wireless adapter driver from HP Support site.
Best of luck.. 🙂

After a couple days of searching - my resolution came when I went into the HP Power Assistant and next to "Connection" clicked on the grayed wifi symbol next to the bluetooth symbol. Wifi immediately came on.

Actually you can connect to the internet using the built in Ethernet RJ45 port on your laptop. Just use an Ethernet RJ45 cable (looks like an oversized telephone cable) to go between your laptop and one of the Ethernet ports on your wireless router.
