I bought this HP notebook a couple of weeks ago.  I looked up the specs before I bought it and it should have bluetooth.  However, there is no bluetooth available in system task bar, no option to find bluetooth devices in settings. I do see bluetooth services running in "services.msc".It is set to start automatically and I tried stopping and starting the services with no change.

In device manager there is no bluetooth and I checked in network devices.

Product # T0U76UAR the [personal information removed]

The support page shows the option for downloading bluetooth drivers from intel, realtec and another brand.  I downloaded the realtec driver since the wireless network device is realtec (found in device manager).  Still no bluetooth.

Specs:  http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04850628

and the drivers http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-15-Notebook-PC-series/8502685/model/9073013/drivers

The realtec drivers are pretty lame - slow!  Is there a generic driver that works better or will utilitze the bluetooth feature?

Any ideas or did I get the bait and switch and there is no bluetooth?

Just what I thought.

The RTL8188EE is not a Combo Adapter.

You need the RTL8732BE   792610-005.

How do I find that information?  Is it what I see in Device Manager?  If so:

Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi Adapter
Realtek PCle FE Family Controller
