Does my computer have Bluetooth capability? If not, is it possible to add it?

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the product specs page for your notebook.

It does not come with built in bluetooth networking, or that feature would have been listed along with the 1x1 802.11b/g/n WLAN Wireless Connectivity specification.

 

You can add bluetooth networking by:

 

Puchasing an external usb bluetooth adapter.

 

Replacing the internal wireless network adapter with one that has bluetooth.

 

You would need to replace yours with the Realtek RT8723BE 802.11bgn 1x1 Wi-Fi + BT4.0 Combo Adapter, since your notebook will only have one antenna connected to the current RTL8188EE wlan card it has.

 

HP Part number 753077-005.

 

Replacing the wireless card is a very in depth procedure which you can find in the service manual below -- chapter 6.
