I am downgrading this notebook for a friend and I am unable to get any of the drivers for the network to install properly. I nave zero connectivity either through the wireless connection or ethernet connection. I have seen several posts regarding this issue, however, the links to the drivers only take me to the main HP support page.
I have tried downloading the drivers suggested by HP however, when installed on the PC I get the error message stating "The program might not have been installed properaly". I have tried several of the ralink drivers (secifially the 802.11b/g/n WLAN driver) with no success.
Any help would be much appreciated!!

Hi:
You need these wireless and ethernet drivers...
This package provides the driver to support the Atheros Wireless LAN adapter in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.
File name: sp56572.exe
This package provides the Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver that enables the Realtek Network Interface Card (NIC) Chip in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.
File name: sp56680.exe
You can use the W7 x64 drivers and software from the HP 2000z-2a00 on your notebook, except the BIOS and firmware files.
