My laptop couldn't connect to wifi but it works great when I connect to lanline.  Is my wireless card having a problem?  What should I do?

Your machine uses  Atheros AR9565 802.11bgn 1x1 WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 combination WLAN adapter as shown:

 

      http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?SearchText=J8C28PA

 

Please try the following driver first:

 

     http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71994.exe

 

also for Bluetooth:

 

    http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp73501-74000/sp73899.exe

Hi BH,

 

Thank you very much for your advice.  Somehow when I log on to my computer through wireless just now, it works perfectly.  I'm going to wait until it disconnect, then I will try your advice. 

 

FYI: Wireless hasn't been working for more than 2 weeks.  Now it works!!!!
