Hello, I just bought this laptop with Windows 8 built in. I decided that I didn't like this Os so I installed Windows 7 instead. And now I can't find any drivers or a driver suite for it. I am not able to use Wlan because It doesn't detect network adapter. Same problem with video card and many other devices. Is there any alternative ways to get it work on Windows 7? thank you.
Specs:
AMD Quad-Core A10-4600M Accelerated Processor
1TB HDD
8192MB DDR3 SDRAM
WLAN

I did a fast search and found this: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-e-g-Windows-8/Hp655-WiFi-driver-cant-install/td-p/194...
Here is the driver posted in that thread:http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=32...

That seems to be a problem many are having without researching the driver problems before trying to do the downgrade. What is needed to find the drivers, if there are even available, to the hardware ID for each item. Look into Device Manager for each Hardware ID and search for the drivers at the device manufacturer's site.

Yeah maybe I was a little too fast swaping the OS w/o doing any research. I was so sure that WIN7 has everything you need... Thanks for your suggestion, but here's the biggest problem. I don't even have any ID on these devices.

On that last screen, as such http://i.snag.gy/pNEzT.jpg click on the Details tab, then on the Property bar, click on the down arrow and pick "Harware ID". The values in the box below will be what you need to look for the drivers. It has to be done for each item in device manager needing a driver. Have fun and good luck.
