Hi:

You need this ethernet driver...

This package provides the Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver that enables the Realtek Network Interface Card (NIC) Chip in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

File name: sp71268.exe

thanks for the solution Paul.. i have just 1 more query....out of the listed drivers on the HP driver download page, please identify the softwares which are necessary to run the machine, so that i may save time by downloading only those.

Thanks.

You're very welcome.

Looking at the product specs, you need to install the:

Intel chipset installation utility first.  Then reboot.

Graphics...you need to first install the Intel HD graphics driver and reboot.

Then install the amd graphics driver and reboot.

Audio.  Install and reboot.

You have the ethernet.

Wireless and bluetooth:

The parts list states your notebook has the Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11b/g/n 1x1 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 combination WLAN adapter, so install both the realtek wireless driver and bluetooth driver for that model card.

Install the Realtek card reader driver.

Install the USB3 controller driver.

Install the Intel Management Engine Interface driver.

Install the Intel thermal framework etc. driver.

Install the 3D driveguard driver.

That is what comes to mind off the top of my head.
