Need wireless driver for 15-ac184tu Windows 8

Hi, i need Wireless driver for 15-ac184tu for Windows 8 64bit.

I tried searching but only Windows 7 and Windows 10 drivers are available. Also, please let me know if there is a button to turn wireless on/off in this laptop as i could find none. Although this is not an issue, only if i get the correct driver to install the wireless network to my laptop.

Hi:

There are no W8 drivers for the Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11b/g/n 1x1 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 combination WLAN adapter  your notebook has from anywhere.

Your only option is to connect via ethernet or external USB flash drive, and either upgrade to W10 real fast (today) or get the free upgrade to W8.1 from the windows store, and then there will be W8.1 and W10 drivers for the wlan card.

If you need the W8 ethernet driver, use the 3rd one on the list from the link below...

Hi, thanks for your help. I have downgraded to Windows 7 64bit. I tried the HP installers from this site but the network adapter did not worked for Windows 7, it automatically crashed then it said it did not installed correctly. Then i used your link and downloaded the second link for Windows 7. It did installed correctly. But, i am still unable to enable the wireless adapter, can you please let me know how to do it.

Do i need to go the Zero Wireless Assistant route to setup wireless network on my pc or how else can i do it. I am currently connected via a usb dongle.

You're very welcome.

The free upgrade to W10 ends today.  You have to have W10 installed and activated before midnight Pacific Daylight Time.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to troubleshoot wireless connections if the driver is installed.

You can try the newest driver for that model card and see if it works...
