Hello. Recently I had to reinstall windows 7 on my computer. Since then it cannot get online as it says it has no network adaptor. I had to reinstall windows 7 from a disk I ordered, as an upgrade on windows 10 had failed and messed up my computer such that there was no way to restore it.
I have tried downloading various drivers - network adaptors and installing them. Nothing seems to work. Also, the screen resolution is not very good. Can someone advise me what drivers (network adaptor) I need, and where to get it and how to install it such that I can get online with my computer again.
Thanks in advance!

Hi:
If the screen resolution is no good, you probably need to install the graphics driver for your model notebook.
This package provides the AMD video drivers, Control Panel, and HD audio driver for the supported notebook models running a supported operating system.
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp65001-65500/sp65001.exe
For the wired network adapter driver, you need this driver...
This package provides the driver for the Realtek Ethernet Controller in the supported notebook models running a supported operating system.
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp63001-63500/sp63213.exe
For the wireless network adapter, I will need you to provide some additional information since your PC can have one of several different model wireless adapters installed.
Please post the hardware ID for the device you see listed in the device manager labeled as a Network Controller.
The Network Controller device will be found under the Other Devices category in the device manager.
To find the hardware ID, click on the Network Controller device.
Then click on the Details tab at the top of the Network Controller window.
Now you will see a Property drop down list, and it will be set to Device Description.
Drop down on that list, and select the 2nd item (Hardware ID's).
Post the top string of characters that you see in the window.
