I have an HP 14-r258tu with a Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 Wifi Adapter. I would like to upgrade the wifi card to an Intel 7260.
It looks as though it is compatible becuase they are both half size cards and have two antennas.
The laptop is no longer in Warranty so there is no issue of breaking the warranty terms.
Thanks

Hi,
Your machine was built early 2014, the chance to upgrade the wifi card is very slim to none. If you wish, you can try and the chance is 50/50 or try USB-Wireless card.
Regards.
