I bought 2 probook 455 G3 laptops last week and both of them are missing a wire on their wi fi card. Also there was not warrenty card in the boxes. The service manual says there should be two wires and I have never seen a wifi card properly connected with one wire. How can these issues get resolved?
Thank you,
Jason

Hi:
This is a peer to peer forum. HP maintains no official presence here.
You will need to contact HP technical support for the country you live in to address the no warranty paperwork issue.
But I can tell you with 100% certainty that if the notebooks have Realtek or Broadcom single band wireless cards, they will only have one antenna connected to them.
Only the dual band Intel or Broadcom cards will have two antennas connected to them.
All the service manuals show 2 antennas, which is why I tell anyone who wants to upgrade their wireless cards in these new notebooks to ensure there are 2 antennas connected to the card before buying a new one.
Unless of course they want to take the whole notebook apart including the display panel area to run the 2nd antenna.
