Hello!

 

I've just bought the HP 15-af158nm netobook and installed windows 7 (64-bit) but could not access the internet, either LAN or wirelles, the USB is not working porperly.. Searched the Hp website and the internet for drivers but no use...

 

Could someone please point me to where can I get the drivers for the following:

You need these drivers...

 

Ethernet:

 

This package provides the Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver that enables the Realtek Network Interface Card (NIC) Chip in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

 

File name: sp71268.exe

 

Network Controller:

 

The package contains the Broadcom wireless LAN drivers and utility that are required to enable the integrated Broadcom Wireless LAN Adapter in supported notebooks that are running a supported operating system.

 

File name: sp70888.exe

 

PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller:  Note...this driver has to be manually installed.

 

This package provides AMD PSP Driver for supported models that are running a supported operating system. 

 

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp68501-69000/sp68619.exe

 

To manually install the driver, download and run the driver above.  Close out of any error windows.

 

Go to the device manager and click on the PCI E/C Controller needing the driver.

 

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update Driver.  Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.

 

That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp68619.

 

Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.  Then restart the PC.

 

SMBus and USB controllers...download and install the first driver on the list from the link below and restart the PC.

This package provides the AMD High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver and Catalyst Control Center for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. For notebooks with switchable graphics modes, this package includes drivers for both graphics processing units (GPUs). Switchable graphics enable users to switch between a power-saving graphics mode (normally used under battery power) and a high-performance graphics mode. If high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) video output is supported, this package also installs the HDMI Audio Driver.
