When I close my computer I lose my internet connectivity. Sometimes when I boot my computer I cannot get connectivity. The only way I can get it back is to unplug /replug in my router. I know the problem is not the router because I can bring up the internet on another device. I am close to the router (within 6 feet). I only have my computer connected and I have my internet network setting on my computer at automatically connect. If I click on my network it shows "connected secured" but if I click on network, it says it cannot connect, This is a new computer and I am guessing this problem may be a setting, but I need help. My computer model is HP 1522-WP I am running windows 10.
Thanks. I hope someone can help me.

Hi,
Normally closing the lid will put your laptop to sleep and when it sleeps it may turn off the wirless card. Please try
(a) From Device Manager, expand Network adapters,
(b) Right click wireless card and select Properties.
(c) Click tab Power Management,
(d) Untick "Allow computer to turn off ...."
(e) Click Ok/Apply
Regards.
