Thanks for your answer. I resolved my problem in a different way :
- I downloaded Ubuntu 10.04
- I created a bootable disk using my usb flashdisk and UneBootin software.
- I booted from it and launched Gparted.
- I changed the flag of the HP_RECOVERY partition to "boot" flag.
- I restarted my computer.
I'm returning back to vista because I have som sticky issues with my battery (an icon on Win 7 suggests me to change my battery). I didn't know how to fix it and the autonomy of my computer was really bad (less tha 40 min) .
Thank you for your help.

I changed the opearting system Vista to Win7. Everything fine but have been receiving an error message saying "Consider replacing your battery" "There is a problem with your battery, so your computer might shut down suddenly".
I know for a fact that the battery is good. It works fine in Vista, its only about 4 months old, it lasts 2 hours +, and even in Windows 7, it will last for the same time period as it did in Vista.
My Computer is dv6819eg
Amd Turion 64*2
Nvidia Graphics
so Sir Dainel do you have any suggestion regarding to this problem? please send me the suggestion.
Thanks

Hi,
It's really hard to say something about it.
You may google for a while and You will see that many users have this problem.
Microsoft "statement" is that users with this problem should replace battery for new one.
Resource:
Microsoft says Windows 7 battery 'issue' isn't one
Users are saying that this is problem with WIndows 7 and MS should fix it as quick as possible.
Check below topic about it:
Windows 7 and the battery error "consider replacing your battery" (Part 1)
I found some time ago MS document about this issue for LG laptops:
According to informations which are there upgrading Bios fixes this problem on their models. It seems that the same situation may be true for HP models dv6000/dv9000, but this is only my theories. AS You know HP don't support this models with this system so for sure there will not be released any Bios update for Windows 7.
"Confirmation" of this little theorie may be found even in HP document:
Error "Consider Replacing Your Battery" Appears in Windows 7
They are also recommending there checking battery with HP Support Assistant and installation of all updates released by Microsoft.
So maybe it's worth to check is there any newer Bios version then this which You've got now and trying to upgrade it. I don't recommend to do this in Windows 7. It's safer to do this in Vista. You will do this step on your own risk. I'm not taking any responsibility for any problems. I will repeat again. This may not give You any change.
How to update Bios?
First check which Bios version You've got now. This information may be very helpfull if ther will be any problem.
How to find correct Bios update for Your specific model?
1. Click on Support & Drivers link. (Upper part of this page.)
2. Select option: Download drivers and software (and firmware)
3. In ' For product ' search box type Your p/n.
Resource:
How to Locate the Notebook p/n
4. Choose ' Go '.
5. Select correct operation system (Vista 32 bit or Vista 64 bit) and click on ' Next '. Choose:
● Microsoft Windows Vista
or
● Microsoft Windows Vista (64 bit)
6.Click the sign next to Bios and You will find latest Bios version.
If it's newer then this which You've got now then:
Plug Your ac adapter to the computer.
Disconnect from the internet. Switch off any antivirus and firewalls.
Then execute the Bios Update exe. It may take some time. Its gonna show the installed version and the updated version. Don't switch off Your laptop, don't disconnect ac and don't do anything on it when this update is running.
Bios update is CRITICAL so be careful, have full patience. Remember to then this step is always very risky and may corrupt Your notebook.
Sorry that I can't give You any real fix. If You will find out anything or solve this problem then come back here and reply about it.
Regards
Dan
