I'm a sysadmin in a university department, and we have a number of networked LaserJet & Color LaserJet printers. Unfortunately, it appears that someone has managed to access the configuration menu in our Color LaserJet CP3525 and change various settings, including setting a password that prevents us from accessing the configuration menu.

I have tried accessing the EWS but this is locked out as well. I have had no success in searching for a cold reset process that can be used without having access to the configuration menu. Due to the network configuration that has been applied, I'm unable to connect to the printer using Web JetAdmin, and I've been unable to get my JetAdmin 10 installation to detect the printer when connected by USB.

What should I do to resolve this problem?

Kyle_Rogers,

This forum is for consumer users so to give you more exposure for your post I would suggest putting it in the commercial forums section. Below is the link for the commercial laserjet forums.
