Welcome to the HP Community @Medy,

I am unsure if or when an updated Windows 10 driver will appear on the hp.com website however, the printer is compatible with Windows 10 and should work using the latest Windows 8.1 driver.

You can also try running the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows to see if the wizard will automatically install the drivers for you!

Here is the link to the drivers webpage, select "Windows 8.1" and you will see a Full driver available: HP Photosmart All-in-One Printer series - B109 Full Feature Software and Driver

Hi @hunglandavid,

Good Day. A warm welcome to the HP community. I reviewed the case relating to assistance with printer drivers for windows 10will be delighted to assist you here.

Superb description, brilliant troubleshooting and terrific observations made before posting. Kudos to you for that. 🙂

To assist you with accurate information I would require more information regarding this.

  • Did you try to download the drivers from the HP support site?
  • Did you try the built-in drivers for Windows 10?

For now please try these steps:

Please uninstall any existing printer by following these steps:

  • In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
  • Select your HP printer.
  • Select Uninstall.
  • In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
  • In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
  • Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
  • Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
  • Click on Drivers tab.
  • Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
  • Select OK.
  • Remove all instances of the same.
  • Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
  • Close Devices and Printers.
  • Restart the PC again.

  • Then download the latest full feature driver from http://hp.care/2ii6vR4 and install it on the computer after selecting the correct operating system.
  • Connect the printer to your computer only when the setup prompts for the printer.
  • This should do the trick for you.
  • If it does not, please install the Windows 10 Built-in drivers by following the instructions from this link: http://hp.care/2o3acvH
  • This should fix the issue.

Please perform all these steps patiently as it is critical to resolving the issue. The trick is to remain patient, Going by your technical expertise and competence I am sure you will be able to perform these steps without breaking a sweat. 🙂
