I purchased a display mode Envy Pro 6452 and can't get past the "Use Setup Cartridges Error".  Does anyone know how to order them or call support? I swear I've poking around this support site for an hour looking for a phone number? (USA)

Hi @Laura732WV,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP Envy Pro 6452 printer is giving you trouble with the setup cartridges. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.

  • Verify Cartridge Installation: Make sure that the setup cartridges are properly installed in the printer. Open the printer cover and ensure that the cartridges are securely seated in their respective slots.
  • Remove and Reinsert Cartridges: Sometimes, simply removing the cartridges and reinserting them can resolve connection issues. Turn off the printer, wait for a few minutes, then turn it back on and reinsert the cartridges.
  • Check Cartridge Contacts: Inspect the contacts on the cartridges and inside the printer for any dust, dirt, or debris. Clean them gently with a dry, lint-free cloth if necessary.
  • Reset the Printer: Try resetting the printer to its default settings. You can usually do this by turning off the printer, unplugging it from the power source, waiting for a minute or two, and then plugging it back in.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can usually update the firmware through the printer's settings menu or by visiting the HP website for instructions and downloads.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
