Product: Deskjet 1051
Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

Hello,

 

I've been trying to get my "HP Deskjet 1051" to connect with my MacBook. My MacBook is now on macOS Big Sur 11.5.1 which I cannot find the corresponding Drive for that update. Can someone please help me or give me direct contact information for HP.

I'd be happy to assist you with the driver issue.

 

HP Deskjet 1051 drivers for macOS 11.5.1 are not available from the HP website or Apple Software Update. However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information. 

 

NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.
