HP ENVY 5055 All-in-One Printer
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

HP 5055 display is blank. There is just a blue screen on the printer. I can still print via computer as normal, but cannot do any functions that require the display. However I can tell very faintly that the screen is responding to touch inputs. I’ve followed the HP troubleshooting steps multiple times without success and talked to the chat bot agent. The chat bot agent directed me here for help. Has anyone solved this issue?

Hello @Koala10 .

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the power source.
  3. Wait 60 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
    NOTA: 
    HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Thanks for your advise. I did try that method several times, including trying a different power outlet. The screen remains blank.
