I have a issue with my HP ENVY 7858 printer that has a a driver that's not available and it keeps dropping off of our network.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Here's what you need to do:

  1. Uninstall HP printer software, and then remove the printer from your Devices list. 
  2. Restart the PC
  3. Close all programs
  4. download only this complete package: HP Universal Scan - Full Feature Software and Driver 
    1) File name: Full_Webpack-51.10.6100-SJ0001_Full_Webpack.exe (411.2 MB)
  5. download only this complete package: HP Scan OCR Add-on Software 
    2) File name: Win7plus-1.0.1020-HPOCR_Win7plus.exe (224.8 MB)
  6. Close all programs
  7. Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the 1) EXE
  8. The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
  9. Restart the System again
  10. Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the 2) EXE
  11. The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
  12. Restart the System again
  13. Now the installation is complete.

Document error messages accurately, even better is to take a screenshot of it and upload here.
