HP Color Laserjet CM2320
Linux

I have a new graphical image at the top of each page on my website: http://www.transformation.dk/index-eng.html .

When I print it on my HP Color Laserjet CM2320fxi MFP, the colors are wrong, and they do not look good, compared to the screen, and compared to a professional print made in a printing shop, which uses Minolta printers.
I have tried both from Windows and Ubuntu Linux. Windows gives the best result although in Ubuntu I could choose between 4 different color schemes.

I have - of course - tried the calibration option in the Settings on the printer. That doesn't help.

NB! I would prefer to solve the problem under Ubuntu linux (64-bit), since that is my primary OS, but I also have Win7 64-bit and Win10 64-bit.

I am looking forward to hear from you - thank you!

Thank you for the link!

That site also contains this page: https://www.color-management-guide.com/calibrate-printer-distance-provider-online-service.html - which links to a service - http://www.cmp-color.fr/E_CMP_Shop.html - which provides help to create individual ICC color profiles for your printer, so you don't need to buy the expensive spectrophotometer yourself!

The service costs 40-60 euro for an ICC calibration. I thinik I will try that.

Comparing print quality from mid-entry office printer with print quality from a professional print shop that uses RIP can't be done.

The process of creating an image on a computer screen and on paper is very different, and to achieve colour on paper to be like one on the screen you need to have professionally calibrated monitor and Profesional calibrated printer and specific software.

Hi Valsimot

Thank you for your message.

Is it possible to profesionally calibrate my HP Color Laserjet CM2320 printer?

And what do you mean by 'having specific software'?

Calibrating mid-entry office printer would be a waste of money if you want a professional print use print shop.

I just found another similar printer color calibration service that costs 10 euro - http://www.menccolor.be/profileservice.html - so I think I will start with that.
