HP printer drivers not working on a new Windows 11 machine.

I have a Laserjet 2055dn and a Colour Laserjet 1518ni which worked perfectly in Windows 10 on all software. The Windows 10 machine was replaced with a brand new Windows 11 machine. When setting up the printers the HP drivers (Oct21) were recognised on both printers but no printing occurred. My solution was to use the Microsoft Universal drivers which print but the 2055dn does not do double side printing and the 1518ni will not colour print in MS Publisher but is OK with colour printing in MS Word. When will the  Windows 11 drivers be produced for these machines?    January 2022

Please use the HP Color LaserJet CP1510 Printer series Full Feature Software and Drivers to install your printer.

• Right-click on HP_CP1510_series_full_solution_AM-EMEA1-v4.0.exe and click on Properties.
• Click on the Compatibility tab, and then check the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box, in the drop-down list select Windows Vista.
• Click on Apply and OK.
• After that, right-click on HP_CP1510_series_full_solution_AM-EMEA1-v4.0.exe, and then on Run as administrator.
• Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation of your printer.
