HP Recommended

My 8012e printer tried to update and now it is stuck with a screen that says "A problem has occurred with one of the printer's critical system files. A printer update will be installed to fix this problem". The wifi light is not on. I cannot turn it off, unless I remove the power cord from the back or turn it off at the mains. I have removed the printer from my laptop, I have unistalled the HP smart app and reinstalled. I have powered everything off - including the wifi router but when I turn the printer back on I am stuck with the same issue.

I have tried all the HP support suggestions. Weirdly the Direct

It is only just over 2 years old!!

Can anyone help???
