I established an account with hpsmart.com.  It said I needed to download the smart app, which I did.  I added my printer to the smart app.  I logged out of and back into my hpsmart.com account and it still says I have 0 owned printers.  I'm so frustrated.  Can anyone help me?

Hi @UrsulaM,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your frustration. It sounds like you've taken the necessary steps to add your printer to your HP Smart app, but for some reason, it's not reflecting correctly on the website. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you could try:

Refresh the Page: Sometimes, a simple refresh of the webpage can solve the issue. Try logging out of your HP Smart account, refreshing the page, and then logging back in.

Clear Browser Cache: Cached data in your browser might be causing the website to not display the updated information properly. Try clearing your browser cache and then revisiting the HP Smart website.

Check App Settings: Ensure that your printer is still properly connected and configured within the HP Smart app. Sometimes, a connection issue with the printer can cause it to not display correctly on the website.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hi Rachel -

Have following the instructions and then also restarted the computer.

Refresh the Page:

Clear Browser Cache:

Check App Settings:

I can print to the printer and scan from the printer, so I know it's connected properly.

Your site still shows 0 Owned printers.

When I search for "Printers & Scanners" on my computer, the printer appears.

Help!
