Hi @JY36,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Connecting a printer to the internet typically involves a few steps. Here’s a general guide.

  • Check your Network: Make sure your Wi-Fi network is working properly. Ensure that other devices can connect to it without any issues.
  • Printer Setup: Follow the setup instructions provided with your HP DeskJet printer. This usually involves turning on the printer and going through the initial setup steps like selecting your language, region, etc.
  • Wi-Fi Setup on Printer: Your printer should have a menu or button interface that allows you to connect it to your Wi-Fi network. Navigate through the printer’s menu to find the Wi-Fi setup option. You’ll typically need to select your Wi-Fi network from a list of available networks and enter your Wi-Fi password.
  • Wi-Fi Connection Confirmation: After entering your Wi-Fi network credentials, your printer will attempt to connect to the network. Once connected, it should display a confirmation message or indicator light.
  • Print a Test Page: Once your printer is connected to the Wi-Fi network, it’s a good idea to print a test page to confirm that it’s working correctly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
