I updated my Macbook Pro OS to OS X 10.12 (Sierra) and immediately regreted doing so. I do quite a lot of scanning with my HP Photosmart 7520 all-in-one and have lost my ability to control scanning from my laptop. Yes, I can still print, but scanning is what I really need to do. Does anyone have a solution or knowledge of an upcoming software/driver update?

Hello @imk235, Greetings!
May the Forums be with you! It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel.
I see that you are using MAC Sierra and is experiencing an issue while scanning. I will do my best to help you fix the problem.
I would recommend you to try using HP Easy scan app to scan in MAC Sierra. Go to http://hp.care/2dVzZC9 to get instruction on how to download and use the HP Easy scan app.
I will watch for your reply. Good luck!
Cheers 🙂

Esteemed Dvortex: I am very happy with the solution you provided me. The HP Easy scan app appears to be exactly what I needed to get back into the scanning I need to do with my HP Photosmart 7520. Thank you for contacting me!
