HP Photosmart 7520
macOS 10.12 Sierra

I updated my Macbook Pro OS to OS X 10.12 (Sierra) and immediately regreted doing so. I do quite a lot of scanning with my HP Photosmart 7520 all-in-one and have lost my ability to control scanning from my laptop. Yes, I can still print, but scanning is what I really need to do. Does anyone have a solution or knowledge of an upcoming software/driver update?

Esteemed Dvortex: I am very happy with the solution you provided me. The HP Easy scan app appears to be exactly what I needed to get back into the scanning I need to do with my HP Photosmart 7520. Thank you for contacting me!

You can control scanning from the printer itself. Save it to a USB drive and move the USB drive to the laptop. Bummer.
