macOS 12.0 Monterey

I received a new HP 8710 printer from someone without the setup ink. I am hoping someone can help with the instructions on how to override this requirement. It seems a lot of people have had this issue, but the override instructions are unique to each printer.

 

My 12 yo has a project due and of course she waited till the last moment to tell me she needs to print (we haven’t had a need to print recently). I appreciate any help!

I'd like to help!

 

We would have to perform an OOBE reset on the printer to bypass the error 

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
