Product: Photosmart 7762
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have just upgraded from Windows 7 to 10.  When I go to print an A4 document in now comes out at a reduced size so that I have extra border space on the left and at the bottom.  The page is set to A4 the printer is set to A4 and I have tried print actual size and print to fit but it makes no difference.   I deleted and reinstalled the printer so that it would presumably use the latest driver but again it makes no difference.

 

HELP PLEASE

 

(PS. My ancient LaserJet 1200 still prints the same A4 document correctly after the Upgrade to Windows 10)

Problem solved.  

 

First tried downloading the HP Printer Installation Wizard but that installed it as a Generic Brother but with HP Photosmart 7760 showing when clicked but it just printed pages of random characters.

 

Then found printer propertied-advanced-new driver and ran windows update and it evetually listed the printer series so I clicked on it and now it prints A4 OK again.
