Hello,

Issue: The printer goes offline each time i print. Auto clears job and print, repeat. There are packet losses when its pinged.

My printer was working fine before the following changes:

1) Upgraded to latest Win10

2) changed my wireless router

What i have done, do far:

1) reinstalled drivers

2) rest the printer

3) setup  Wifi Wizard

4) switched off/ON SNMP

5) Add TCP/IP protocol on the port setting

6) Checked coverage all good.

The printer just wont work. Appreciate some advise.

@Originalrusk, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I see that you are facing Printer Offline issues intermittently, this could be due to the connectivity or the drivers installed. Let us try to isolate and resolve the issue-

You may need to instead go into your router settings and try changing the channel manually. Experiment with different channels to see which one works best.

Assign manual IP to the printer

The steps on how to set a manual IP address can be found here.

For the DNS servers please use 8.8.8.8 for the Manual Preferred DNS Server and 8.8.4.4 for the Alternate DNS server. These are Google’s public DNS servers.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
