Product: HP Photosmart 5510 e-all-in-one B111 Series
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The old Photosmart 5510 printer is dead and I want  to remove all software for it. Most of the sofwares had a working unistall function but there is still one software listed in the Controll Panel that I cannot get rid of.

There installation is in Swedish so the software is called "Grundläggande  enhetsprogram för HP Photosmart 5510 series" and that translates to something like "Basic software for HP Photosmart 5510 series").

When I try to unistall it I get a message saying "The call for DriverPackageUninstall returned malfunction for 5 packages. The one who calls DrivePackageInstall must be member of the admin group . ." 

 

I have tried starting Admin tools as admin but I cannot get it to work, is there anybody  here who can help?

Hello,

The software uninstall process does not start or an error displays while uninstalling, download Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed from the Microsoft website, and then try uninstalling again.

The Microsoft tool successfully and quickly removed HP Deskjet 3634 software from my Windows 10 after much searching, reading, and troubleshooting to understand "Call to DriverPackageUninstall returned error 5 for package."
