cancelling lighting

I installed the HP DeskJet Plus Ink Advantage 6475 All-in-One.

I can't understand why there is a steady blue light when the printer is on, doing no job.

Is there any way I can cancel the light???

Short Answer

No, the light cannot be switched off.

Longer Answer

The printer communicates with lighting and patterns.

When the printer is switched on, one or another of the light colors and patterns will be displayed.

Start in section Edge lighting and status lights > Page 8

and

Page 11 > See Table 1-4 Edge lighting - white

Next, Change light intensity level

Section Adjust printer lights or volume > Page 16
