Greetings,

I have the Full Feature Software and Drivers installed. I also noticed that HP App installed itself. Do I need this? Is it safe to remove?

Thanks,

Shane.

You want to keep the Full Feature Software.

HP Smart is not mandatory; you can uninstall it if you do not want it on the computer.

Thanks.

HP said to download the full feature software if you don't have a Microsoft Store account. This is what led to my confustion.

You are welcome.

The Full Feature Software is the full driver printer software for the printer.

HP App for Windows offers several means of printer access and support but may not offer the full range of features available in the printer software.  Honestly, I don't use it except for test and occasional checks.

Assuming you have the Full Feature Software installed:

"Smart" is nice software - it takes very little space on your system - you can leave it for possible use or remove it.
