So, I just phoned HP sales to ask what printers use the HP363 cartridges, because my HP D7360 printer has just packed in and I have a load of cartridges for it, and was rather coldly told "you'll just have to look through them all to find out".

I'm really losing my patience with HP.  This is my 3rd HP D3760, it too has also broken down and when I make an enquiry about buying a new printer I'm brushed off with that kind of customer support!

I'm wondering why I'm even looking at another HP.  Were it not for the cartridges, I doubt I would.

Is there a quick way of establishing what, current, HP printers use the HP363 cartridges?

Thank you.
Nathon.

HP 363 cartridges are the same as HP 02. These cartridges are probably were bought from europe. The north american equivalent of these cartridges are HP 02. You need to call HP support for regionalization of your printer.. so that you can use these cartridges.

Sorry, slight misunderstanding maybe.  I'm looking to purchase a new printer that can use the HP363 catridges.

I've already contacted HP and their response was "you'll have to look through the tech spec of every printer".  Very helpful!  😞

I was just wondering if there was any way to, perhaps, search by cartridge type, to save me having to trawl through what seems like endless model lines.

The printer I've got just now is dead, hence the new purchase.

Thanks.

Hi,

Sometimes Google can be pretty handy.

The HP 363 cartridges fit HP Photosmart 3108 / 3110 / 3210 / 3310 / 7180 series / 8250 / C5100 series / C6150 / C6154 / C6170 / C6175 / C6180 / C6183 / C6185 / C6188 / C6190 / C7150 / C7170 / C7177 / C7180 / C7183 / C7186 / C7188 / C7190 / D6160 / D6163 / D6168 / D7100 series / D7145 / D7155 / D7160 / D7168 / D7345 / D7355 / D7360 / D7368 Printers

Hope that helps.

So, now, all I have to do is type all of those model numbers into the HP website, or PC supplies website, individually, in order to check features and price?

Not really a solution is it?

One thing you have clarified though, which HP did not, is that the HP363 cartridges are for Photosmart series printers.  Thank you.

But if you buy these printers from the U.S. the HP 363 still wont be compatible because HP 363 are intended for printers from Europe.

Hi,

You are welcome. Actually I answered the only statement in your original post that was a question. The answer is... by using Google. That was how I found the information so quickly. As long as you are familiar with the best way to search...the rest is pretty simple.

regards,

The HP363 cartridge is meant for European printers. If you log into www.hp.co.uk, you can find the HP 363 for sale. From this link, it appears these ink cartridges are meant for our "Connery" writing systems that are used in some of our 2006, 2007 and 2008 printers. Examples include the following listed here.

Why would I buy from the US?  I'm in Europe!

It appears that the UK "Support Forum" simply links to the U.S. Support Forum!

Anyhoo, I'm in Europe, if that makes answering easier!

Thanks.

Hi WiFi Guy.

The first printer in your list, the HP Deskjet F2480 All-in-One Printer.  Is it this one (on the UK site)?:

http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/uk/en/ho/WF06b/18972-18972-238444-410635-410635-3811093-3964414.html

...if you look closely, you'll notice that this printer uses HP300 cartridges, not the 363.

Your advice has me very confused.  Can you please clarify?   Thank you.

Regards
Nathon
