Thanks for taking the time to reply it is much appreciated.

 

I do think, however, that your post highlights one of the aspects of the modern age and that is the 'perseverence' factor.  I realise, of course, that the thread is quite ancient however I would counter that I was pointed to this thread when I made a similar query on HP363 cartridges today!  Now, obviously, some information is timeless and some timebound however, in my opinion, courtesy is timeless.

 

So for those who come after I felt it worth the cost of perhaps 60 seconds (expanded now of course with this reply to you) of my time to acknowledge honest endevour.

 

Ulterior motive of course is that I can, if appropriate, lambast the shocking lack of HP Customer care with a clear conscience knowing that I can and have recognised good service when I came across it.
