Hi,

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8500 A909a, and have noticed there are 5 events of this type, one of which was in the last few days. I don't recall having any issues with the printer, but I am not the only user so I can't be sure if there was a noticable problem at the time the event ocurred. Any ino would be most appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello airmamma,

Welcome to the HP Forums.

I have done some research on the Event code that you have and I have found a great document that explains how you can locate the code and find out what it was for.

Please click on the following link for A 'Fatal Error' (MSI error) Displays on the Computer During HP Software Installation in Windows.  Once in the document, please go into the section for No, my error message does not include a numbered code.

Select the windows operating system and follow the instructions.

I hope this information is helpful, however if you do have any other questions, please feel free to write me back.

Cheers,  Smiley Happy

Thank you. I will follow directions there and see if I can isolate the events. I really appreciate your time and effort.
