Hi! @PaulCG54, Thanks for stopping by HP forums!

I understand that you need to know whether you can get an RJ11 adapter for your PC to send faxes from your printer.

Don't worry I'd like to help.

Fax has to configured on the phone line and printer, not on your PC.

You can check in stores for RJ 11 to RJ 45 adapter. If you need to purchase the adapter.

Have a great day ahead! 🙂

@PaulCG54, Thanks for your response and time.

To use E-fax your printer needs to be compatible with E-fax. However

eFax is a service provided by j2 Global Communications, Inc., not Hewlett-Packard. It allows you to send and receive faxes using the Internet instead of a phone line. eFax is easy to use, but the service differs from a typical phone-based fax machine. You cannot send eFaxes unless your product supports eFax.

When you register for eFax from the HP product control panel, the eFax service is free for a combination of 20 incoming or 20 outgoing fax pages per month. If you would like to send or receive more than 20 faxes per month, visit www.efax.com for other fax plans and pricing.
