Hi @tyler52132,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

In the HP Smart App, scanning multiple files and saving them as individual files in their respective destination folders might require a specific workflow. Here's a general guide on how you might achieve this.

  • Open HP Smart App: Launch the HP Smart App on your device.
  • Select Scan: Find the option to scan documents or images. This might be located on the main menu or in a toolbar.
  • Scan Documents: Place the documents you want to scan in the scanner feeder or on the scanner bed, and follow the prompts to start scanning.
  • Choose Scanning Options: Look for an option to adjust scanning settings. You may need to select a format (such as PDF or JPEG) and resolution.
  • Enable Multi-page Scan: If you're scanning multiple pages into a single file, make sure this option is enabled. If you want each page to be saved as a separate file, you might need to disable this option or choose a different setting.
  • Scan Multiple Pages: Scan each document or page one by one. Depending on the app, you might need to select a "Scan Next Page" option after each scan.
  • Review Scans: After scanning all the documents, review them to ensure they have been captured correctly.
  • Save and Organize: Now comes the trickier part. Some scanning apps offer the ability to save each scanned page as a separate file, while others might save them all into a single document. If your app doesn't offer this feature directly, you might need to manually save each scanned page individually. After scanning, you may be prompted to choose a destination folder for saving. Ensure you select the correct folders for each scanned document to keep them organized.
  • Naming Conventions: Depending on your preferences and the capabilities of the app, you might need to manually name each file as you save it to ensure they're properly organized.
  • Finalize and Review: Once you've saved all the scanned documents as individual files in their respective destination folders, review them to ensure everything is organized correctly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
