Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. No matter what I do, I keep getting "There was an error prior to sending your fax. Please try your fax again." NONE of your answer boards have helped. Your virtual assistant was a fluke, I've reset the printer, I have the paid account, I've updated drivers, I've updated HP Smart. CAN ANYONE HELP ME? I will do just about anything, need an organ? Spare body part? Nemesis abolished? Just name your price.

I understand that you are facing issues with sending faxes.

 

If you have performed all the steps from this document and are still unable to send a fax, this might require one-on-one interaction to fix the issue via remote assistance.
