Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

I am scanning a document to a PDF output.  Even when I scan 2 pages of B/W output I get a file that is 6 MB.  How do I reduce the size of the output?

Welcome to the HP Community --

 

Reduce the resolution used to scan the content.

 

If that is not an option using the tools / apps you have available, look for an App you can install in your Mac that will compress the saved file size.
