Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. I downloaded the HP Smart app on my iPad to scan documents, but it says feature unavailable.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you are unable to scan, I am glad to assist you.

Did you check if the smart app is updated?

If not, Update the HP Smart app to the latest version.

And if the issue still persists, uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart app to fix the issue.
