Multiple JPEG's were produced when scanning an invoice using iOS HP Smart App.  Any thoughts on why this has happened on the iOS app?  Works perfectly on the HP App on Windows 10.

I usually scan the monthly invoice via the HP App on my Windows 10 computer.  This morning it was more convenient to use my iPad Mini 5th generation and the iOS HP Smart App.  The App found the printer with no problem, I loaded the invoice into a HP Office Pro 7720, tapped 'printer scan' in the app and the document was scanned (4 pages); I turned the document over in the printer to scan the reverse side; tapped 'plus', and then tapped 'printer scan'.  Another 4 pages were scanned and added to the existing scan.  I then saved the scan into my OneDrive account.  When I later went to retrieve the scanned invoice, I found it had printed multiple JPEG files.

You might have missed setting the file type.

I don't have a set of example images ready for this...

The following is hopefully reasonably accurate for iPad Pro latest iOS and HP Smart Mobile version 7.3.1

Open App

Printer Scan

Accept or Adjust the Page Size > Click the large Blue button on the right side of the screen

Scans the object and displays the results

Scanning from glass: To add page(s) click the blue button (with white Plus sign) at the bottom of the screen

When ready, Click Share / Save (white button at the bottom of the screen)

Click Format >

Click to change the file type, for example, click PDF

Click the blue box to Share / Save the item(s)

Select the Destination (Save to Files, Mail, Print, etc) as available
