I am no longer able to scan to my windows 10 computer from my HP Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M283fdw printer. Today it is asking me to setup my printer which I have been using for over 2 years

Once you get the printer connected, get a network printout and find the IP4 address.

I recommend you log into the modem, lookup the IP address make it a fixed address.  That way it will never change.. Let me know if you need help with this.

Sorry but I have been away from my computer for an extended period of time. I have performed the first two options and it still will not scan from my computer. I have also attempted to connect to the software page and it states that the page is not found. Any other suggestions?
